SCRAFTY IS THE SPIRIT POKEMON OF MMA FIGHTER NICK DIAZ
FACT: Scrafty is a Dark/Fighting type pokemon. It is recognized as a “hoodlum” pokemon. They travel in packs and roll with their boys.
FACT: Nick Diaz is an MMA fighter from the city of Stockton, CA. A city known for being the meanest town in the U.S. In 2009, Forbes magazine reported Stockton to be on their list of the nation’s most dangerous cities, at number five. Nick Diaz rolls with his boys in the 209. He is one of MMA’s meanest fighters (dark type?).
FACT: No other Pokémon have the same type combination as Scrafty and its pre-evolved form. Because of this combination, psychic types are not strong against Scrafty.
FACT: There is no well-known fighter with Nick Diaz’s stance in MMA, let alone as successful with it. Very few fighters know how to react to his awkward approach, no matter how technical or intelligent they are.
FACT: Scrafty has the highest defense of all non-legendary fighting and Dark type Pokémon. It also is tied with Gallade (Jon Jones’ spirit pokemon) for the highest Special Defense of all non-legendary Fighting-type Pokémon.
FACT: Nick Diaz is well known for his impressive chin and endurance. He has arguably the best chin in MMA and his cardio is extremely impressive. He has only been knocked out once in his career and that was in his second fight ever, against Jeremy Jackson, who he has since defeated twice over.
FACT: Groups of Scrafty beat up anything that enters their territory.
